Our Purpose
The mission of Sports Ministry Outreach is to use sports as a vehicle for teaching children about the love and Gospel of Christ. We partner with local churches to use sports as an outreach within the community. Athletic play is an international language, making it an effective tool for communicating biblical truths.

About Bill Chamblee
Bill Chamblee is the Founder and Director of Sports Ministry Outreach. Bill served as the Minister of Activities/Recreation of First Baptist Church Denton in Denton, TX for 35 years. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and is a Lifetime Member of Texas Baptist Recreators. Bill is a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
